Beatdown decks in Clash Royale
Beatdown builds one large push: a high-hitpoint tank such as Golem, Giant, or Lava Hound walks to the tower while splash and damage dealers follow behind it. The deck often sacrifices tower health early to build an elixir lead, then commits everything in double elixir.
Usually 3.6–4.5 average elixir.
Key cards
Strengths
- Overwhelms decks that lack a dedicated tank killer
- Strong in double and triple elixir
- Splash support punishes swarm defense
Weaknesses
- Slow to react; vulnerable to opposite-lane pressure while a push is built
- Struggles against Inferno Tower and Inferno Dragon without a reset or Lightning
- Expensive hands are awkward early
How to beat beatdown decks
- Keep a reliable tank killer (Inferno, P.E.K.K.A, Mini P.E.K.K.A, Hunter) in your rotation
- Punish the opposite lane when they invest in the tank behind their tower
- Remove the support with spells or splash, not just the tank
